# Introduction to Spoon Finance

Spoon Finance is the first lending protocol allowing leveraged yield farming on Fantom. It helps lenders to earn safe and stable yields, and offers borrowers under-collateralized loans for leveraged yield farming positions, vastly multiplying their farming principals and resulting profits.

Spoon Finance is most inspired by [Alpaca Finance](https://docs.alpacafinance.org/) on Binance Smart Chain. The basic rules are the same as Alpaca.
